Sappi South Africa was established in 1936 to provide consumers with locally made paper. Through the years, they diversified their production to meet local demand for uncoated business and graphic papers, newsprint, packaging and specialty papers.
With headquarters in Johannesburg, the main office manages the sub-divisions of Sappi Specialised Cellulose, Sappi Paper and Paper Packaging, and Sappi Forests. Regional functions including human resources, finance, board functions, technical and engineering, and more are handled in their Johannesburg offices.

Sappi SA Supply Chain Internship 2021
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to acquire and develop essential competencies, experience, and skills relevant to the field. In addition, the Supply Chain Intern will be supporting the company with various tasks and responsibilities within the contract period.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the intern will be performing the following tasks:
- Capturing data, Excel reporting, and track and trace
- Performing sales offices, customer, relations management, and service provider communications
- Reporting and office administration work
